FRUIT ofthe Spirit

These fruits come only from the Holy Spirit, through Him we're able to perform/live out these fruits. Fruit from the Holy Spirit is an indication that the Holy Spirit dwells with those who believe in Jesus, and He is our power, growth and guide.

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you. (Luke 14:26)

LOVE

Love is a host of actions you can show to others. Actions, which God shows to all mankind. Love has nothing to do with how you're feeling but how you treat God, others, and yourself. Some of these actions come easy while some struggle to live out these actions, but with prayer and the Holy Spirit, through Jesus Christ, the actions of love can be lived out.

"Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (1 cor 13:4-7)

PEACE

PEACE

Peace brings ease to your mind, heart, and soul. Peace deals with your emotions and it keeps fear and worries from having its way with you. Peace keeps anxiety away and when you're faced with the trials of life. The Holy Spirit will cover you in the peace of Jesus Christ. No matter how the trials of life flow we have help through the Holy Spirit, and He will keep our mind, heart, and soul in perfect peace.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John14:27)

KINDNESS

KINDNESS

Kindness is sincerity, consideration, compassion,  genuine care, and selflessness that comes through different actions in different ways. Kindness is felt by others as the Holy Spirit lives out God's character through you.

"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

JOY

Joy isn't this jump-up and-down moment. Joy is an understanding within your heart. It has nothing to do with happiness, for happiness is a moment-by-moment emotion depending on the situation. Joy remains in the heart even when the storms of life come your way. Joy is being seated in delight, gladness, and rejoice no matter how good or bad the situation is you face. God understands we'll have times of sorrow, but even then the Holy Spirit will keep you walking in Joy."Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." (James 1:2-3)

LONG-SUFFERING/PATIENCE

Long-suffering and Love go hand and hand for it's not an emotion but an action that outweighs an unpleasant situation one is facing. Long-suffering is extended suffering and the Holy Spirit will help you patiently endure.

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." (Peter 3:9)

GOODNESS

Goodness comes from the living God because He is good and holy at all times. Goodness houses justice, righteousness, and truth. The Holy Spirit fills our heart with God's Goodness and His character becomes our character as the Holy Spirit teaches us what justice, righteousness, and truth looks like and sounds like.

"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." (Galatians 6:10)

Faithfulness

Faithfulness allows followers of Jesus Christ to stand firm in what is right and true, not giving into the flesh and the driven lust of our world. The Holy Spirit will keep us in faithfulness as long as we listen to Him.

Read about the faithfulness of Joseph as his bosses wife wanted to sleep with him. (Genesis 39:1-16)

Gentleness

Self-Control is a disciplined strength that helps you to die to the flesh (old ways) and helps you no longer embrace the desires of this world.  Self-Control helps us become more like Jesus, and gives us the strength to live a blameless, holy (different) life in the sight of the living God. The Holy Spirit  will help you day-by-day.

"but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled." (Titus 1:8)

SELF-CONTROL

Gentleness is a mixture of strength, peace, compassion, and truth shown to others in different and difficult situations. The Holy Spirit will give you all the Gentleness needed for every situation.

"When the other disciples saw what was about to happen, they exclaimed, “Lord, should we fight? We brought the swords!” And one of them struck at the high priest’s slave, slashing off his right ear.

But Jesus said, “No more of this.” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him."  (Luke 22:49-51)
